At least with the car you can drive it almost everywhere, show it off to chicks, etc. A Boba Fett doll is probably a rather large turn-off: 'Hey, why don't you come to my place and check out my 18 grand Boba Fett doll' doesn't really have the same ring as 'Hey, I'll give you a ride home in my shiny new car'.

IMO it's very expensive and maybe worthless, but it's a collectible item. Just wonder why Action Comics #1 (Superman's first appearance in comics) is valued at 1,000,000 usd :shock:

Effort was put in to make cars, and as I've said before, much more enjoyment and satisfaction can be had from driving a car.
