Went to Bodega Bay two weeks back. This was site where the epic movie "The Birds" by Alfred Hitchcock was filmed. The town of Bodega and the bay near it is about 50 miles north of San Francisco.

The diner in the movie has been destroyed and replaced by the Tides restaurant ... I ate there ... they have whole wall of pics dedicated the movie and also to Tippi Hedren .. one of the awesome chics of the 60s
