What will it take to enlighten the Mac User?
I mean really.
What will take for the Apple people to understand that at this point in time there is nothing a mac is better at or can do better then a proper PC?
I semi converted my good apple friend already. He still buys macs but at least he wasnt a pussy and in the end after loosing every argument he said that "I just like how it looks man, I'm used to it".
I mean. The whole Adobe suit is availible on PC. Tottaly defeating the purpose of a apple.
Macs cant play games.
The military uses PC as a base for their simulators.
There is no professional engineering software for Macs.
The only professional things it has are movie and music related. ALL OF WHICH ARE AVAILIBLE ON PC today, not few years ago.
Why dont you all just come out and admit that you like how it looks and sparkles and thats why you like it and cut the bullshit that its somehow better?

Well there are a lot of mac users that live by brand loyalty or their just ignorant in thinking that the mac os is better than windows in every way. Of course there are those who like features of the mac os which windows doesn't offer. Don't ask me what these features are, as I've forgotten them all already.
Another thing is that if someone has been using an os for a long period of time, and hasn't used another, its difficult to learn how to use the new os efficiently.

I wrote a lengthy rebutal but erased it for something far more simpler.
Why dont you stick TNT under your Powerbook & blow it up. Someone blew up his PowerMac and got money for it. You can watch the video at
This whole forum knows you hate Macs for whatever reason. Maybe Steve Jobs molested you as a kid but we all don't care!

We the JW members. Man you're slow aren't you?
Your post shows how ill-informated & ignorant you are. You dont know jack shit about Macs other than obsolete shit.
You dont even know how to turn on a Mac! How dumb can you be not to know how to turn on a computer designed to be so simple that the most computer illiterate can use it effectively.
Your good apple friend got tired talking down to you on how to use it and just plain gave up. I can't blame him!

Why else would Microsoft spend part of the 5-7 billion R&D copying Apple & Google? Want what Vista promises tomorrow? Get a Mac today!

This shows how little you really know about the whole software industry.

Another painfully obvious sign of how ignorant you are.
Why dont you all just come out and admit that you like how it looks and sparkles and thats why you like it and cut the bullshit that its somehow better?

I hope you tell your girlfriend that you dont mind her looks.
Now I am sure you will bitch again about the lack of the floppy disk parallel, vga, modem & serials ports on Macs. These things are being phased-out industry-wide. Apple started the trend to drop these ancient interfaces due for cost consideration & the lack of demand from the general public. It just takes the rest of the PC industry longer to follow lead to drop these interface as well. In the PC industry old tech gets chucked out on the ultra-high end of the market.
I can appreciate these interfaces in the retail industry but it is high time that everyone moved to USB or FW. These interface are faster, more reliable & are really plug-n-play.
Come out of your love cave with Osama and join us in 2006.
