The G4 Challenge is the ultimate car adventure. 27-year-old RAF doctor Andrew Grieve, 33-yearold tour guide Susannah Madge from Brighton and 31-year-old train engineer Brian Reynolds from Colchester compete across a range of extreme sports and off-road driving tests to find Britain’s best adventure racer. It’s neck and neck until the final challenge, a night navigation exercise with a twist. Unbeknownst to our competitors, the organisers have staged a car accident. How will our team react to the scenario of a precariously balanced car with the driver slumped over the wheel? Our hidden night vision cameras capture the action.

Meanwhile, Vicki was the only British journalist invited to test drive the new Ferrari race car, the F430 Challenge. At £150,000, it’s aimed strictly at millionaire playboy racers. Vicki does what she does best and drives it flat out around Ferrari’s private test track.

Elsewhere, Jason gives the definitive verdict on the new top-of-the-range BMW, the Z4 M Roadster. Wheelspinning away from the factory in a plume of smoke, he heads for the amazing snowlined driving roads that zig-zag across The Alps. Jason also re-enacts a famous challenge to demonstrate the car’s incredible acceleration. Can his passenger reach a £20 note stuck to the dashboard while Jason is at full throttle?

We all know Tiff is an amazing driver. It’s often said he can powerslide with one hand tied behind his back. So we asked him to do just that! Disabling one of his arms with duct tape, we witness Tiff trying to steer, change gear and catch a powerslide one-handed as he decides whether the Ford Focus ST or Vauxhall Astra VXR is the easiest hot hatch to drive.

Finally, lucky Tom was allowed an exclusive oneoff look into the secret world of the Maybach. It’s a £300,000 luxury saloon, and only 24 were sold in the UK last year. Paris Hilton used one to get to this year’s Brits, and Simon Cowell owns one, but nobody knows anything about them. Tom visits the hidden showroom in Mayfair frequented by Sheikhs and moguls, and is shown the virtual reality brochure before hearing about the options which include solid silver champagne flutes half a million pounds worth of decorative diamonds! Finally he takes a drive through the poshest bits of London in the latest, sportiest Maybach, the 57S. That’s sure to turn a few heads…
