If you're particular about anything them HDMI 1.3 does matter but if you're just gonna use it on your current boobtube then HDMI 1.3 does not matter.
I'm delaying any plans to buy hdtv til 1-2 years from now. I want a tv that matches HD-DVD & BD. HD
