Great car, but what s stupid road tester is Tom Ford. What value is doing a sound test at 30mph between the ragtop and hardtop version of the mx5. What Tom pught to have done is a sound level test at 60mph with each car in top gear to get a better determination if the hardtop significantly reduces noise. Well tom let me tell you I've driven both cars at 60mph and YES it does make a difference. The test overall could have been better, eg the car could've been lapped, slalomed, handling tested better etcetc!
