My Resto-Mod and Ram
If I get a chance I'll get some better, day-time shots of the ram.

She isn't much to look at, now, but that will change once this summer rolls around again. My girlfriend and I just had to buy it and pay it off, first. 1967 Barracuda Hatchback: http://img118.imageshack.us/img118/7...12526vw.th.jpg All the parts are there, the front end and fenders are in the car. http://img118.imageshack.us/img118/7...12508nh.th.jpg The previous owner swapped out the original 273 Commando V8 and put in his own, hopped-up 318. So, when the funds build up (probably in a couple years :P ) I won't be afraid of putting in my own design. http://img118.imageshack.us/img118/6...12556dn.th.jpg http://img118.imageshack.us/img118/2...12699nj.th.jpg Thanks for looking. Here are a couple shots of the ram with the owners manual on it for my proof of that. http://img431.imageshack.us/img431/2...14604dy.th.jpg http://img431.imageshack.us/img431/1...14616vs.th.jpg I can't get a proof shot of the Barracuda yet, because it's back home in Nebraska (notice the time of year the shot was taken) while I'm down in Colorado for college. |
nice ram and cool baracuda 8)
too bad it isnt a SRT like the viper motor and 500 bhp i hope you will change front bumper for srts bumper :D baracuda is cool :D |
Heh, I'm keeping the Ram as is. For now, the money pit is the Barracuda. The most I would do is get a hitch so I could tow the Barracuda to the shops. Thanks for the comments. :D

umm seeing as the Ram is the wrong body style for the SRT version it would take alot of work to do.
Not a fan of Rams but I love the Barracuda I hope you put a nice 440 in there soon enough, or do you plan on doing a full Cuda clone? |
No clone, an N/A street monster is what I want. I would love to put a 440 in there down the road and bore and stroke it out. I want a street monster that's still fairly road feasible. Yeah, the Ram would take a crap ton of work to do that. What I'd like to do is replace the 318 in the Ram with the 318 in the Barracuda (since it is a little more beefy). Right now there's no exhaust. It's headers and then nothing. :P A little loud, I'd say.
