Wait. So the lower one's Q6600? Anyways. That's impressive. My own compy would die trying to do that. It's a 2001 model and the only thing I've done is increase RAM to 256mb and adding a USB 2 card. :-P

Sigh. My dreams of building a 2x Q6600 octo-core system is not materializing. :-(

Yeh, quad core is only faster than the E8500 dual core when something takes advantage of all its cores, like x264 encoding, but its much slower at xvid encoding (and superpi) than the e8500 as that just uses two cores. You can never overclock the Q6600 anywhere near as high either, due to the extra heat generated by the extra two cores.

Phase Change ? Whats that ?....its all done on Intel stock cooling :mrgreen:
