DMbaseball1604 12-08-2005 06:54 PM

I have been looking forward to reading this article for what seems like forever..I cant wait! Thanks TT!

twboy1999 12-08-2005 10:44 PM

awsome article

callen 12-08-2005 10:51 PM

great article Thanks TT! looks like they really liked the Veyron. I had my doubts but after reading this article the Bugatti sounds like it is going to be very very serious. I cant wait to see the Top gear feature!

SPEEDCORE 12-09-2005 05:58 AM

Damn that is alot to read!! Saves me wating tho, thanx TT, but I did cheat and had a look at the rating. I think the Top Gear review will be interesting on Sunday :)

sentra_dude 12-09-2005 06:45 PM

Excellent writing as usual from evo...I really enjoyed the section after the Veyron article about all of the insane cars the editors had driven.

Thanks TT! Great quality scans. :D

TT 12-09-2005 07:25 PM

Always wondered the same :D mainly because I always thought it would be painfull to click 18 thumbs to get the full pages :bah:

AWESOME Veyron article!!!! Thanks!

ferrari550 12-10-2005 01:04 AM

Thanks a lot TT for the scan, i anticipated evo to review this car, it is simply stunning!! thanks!!

Gilles27 12-10-2005 08:02 AM

Have I said ever that this magazine is magnificent? The article is like no other I read up to date about the Veyron and the other with the most powerful cars also of my interest. More than deserved thanks.

RAMMIUS 12-10-2005 08:23 AM

Interesting read , but hey , Metcalfe was very objective , so one conclusion , as we all know , Veyron it`s a little bit heavy   it`s not as nimble as a Zonda F or Cgt.

dingo 12-10-2005 09:50 AM

Great article with some interesting facts. :D

The car is growing on me, but the weight of the thing just makes me a bit wary of it. I mean a 2000kg++ supercar just doesn't seem right, but who can argue with those acceleration times.

Thanks for the scan TT, brilliant!

Now I am eagerly awaiting the Gallardo SE article.....

TT 12-10-2005 09:54 AM

Next is the SE indeed dingo, maybe later today, maybe tomorrow

leo_26782 12-10-2005 10:05 AM

Great scan, thanks a lot TT :D

It is quite surprising that no one noticed something strange on page 87

I still don't notice anything after a second look, what is it?

TT 12-10-2005 10:08 AM

Indeed weird because the same phrase in the text is correct as far as I remember

dingo 12-10-2005 10:09 AM

oh W12......I was looking for something in the picture.

leo_26782 12-10-2005 10:30 AM

Finally

Congrat TT, I was starting to wonder if I remember it wrong  It's quite funny that it has to be the picture king who realize a text problem

stradale 12-10-2005 04:20 PM

Thanks a lot for the scans, TT. I was curious about what evo would have to say about the Veyron. Pretty much what I expected, in the end. It's a marvel of engineering indeed and giving it full whack would probably blow my mind, but somehow it's not as appealing as some of the other supercars. Maybe it's the result of Piëch's initial approach. He didn't set out to build the most astonishing supercar ever, but he just had two numbers on his mind (400 and 1000) and subsequently earmarked the empty Bugatti shell to act as the package material.

The styling of both the interior and exterior don't appeal to me either. These colours make it even worse. In the picture on the first page it looks terrible IMHO. The word that actually came to mind immediately, was "gay". :?

martin100 12-10-2005 06:53 PM

OMG this is the test the Veyron truly deserves, so many pages :D Thanks infinitely TT i canīt wait to read it!

It is painful to click that many thumbs, and breaks up the reading to do that, this way (full size pics) is much better for reading articles, imo. :D

TT 12-10-2005 07:56 PM

LOL, I just experimentes the thumbs technique in the newest scans.. we'll see what to do next

it depends on how you read it I suppose. I don't read the article from within my browser, I save all the images into my scans folder and read the m later. :)

leo_26782 12-11-2005 10:12 AM

It depends for sure, I personnaly prefer this way, you just have to scroll down to read the whole article. But well... :bah: Both are as good as the article is

leo_26782 12-11-2005 03:31 PM

Well usually, it flicks to page 2 quite quickly (like now  )
