As far as Speed channels coverage, were there really Porsches in the race?

I missed a large part of the 1st. half; seems that Flying Lizzard failed out prematurely... but yeah, they really didn't show much of the porkers... I don't think they had much control over most of the cameras (except for the on-board cameras, and interview cameras).

Yea, the video feed is the same live feed everywhere. The most relevant commentary (as far as being in sync with the video) seemed to come from Eurosport . . . no comment on the Eurosport 2 coverage that was in French.

If the cameras are controlled in Europe they may just want you to come in person, as the TV coverage just does not really make up for not being there in person.

Should be good if they say what is true, than there may be an additional Benzine running LMP1... The rules give too much leeway to the oil burners still; and adding weight isn't the right answer IMO.

I know regulations can make a world of difference, but from my limited knowlege of the topic, it seems the diesels are just better off for endurance racing, no?
