From F1racing.net:

Colombia's Juan Pablo Montoya should be back up to speed for the Imola race later in April. The McLaren driver had to skip the Bahrain grand prix when he (somehow, according to the Paddock cynics) fractured his shoulder playing tennis.

Ron Dennis' Woking-based medical specialist, though, evaluated the 29-year-old and - contrary to suspicion that he could be out until June - (pre-Bahrain) predicted a fourteen to twenty-one day recovery.

JPM is wearing a tight sling and undergoing magnetic treatment, to accelerate bone growth. "We are not worried about it," Ron told the Australasian Motorsport News magazine.

Bad news for De la Rosa.

definitely sucks for De La Rossa, but I'm sure he'll get another chance to race someday. As for Montoya, we can hope he's up to par and shows us a good race 8)

I think McLaren should do what NBA teams do, and not allow there (players) to play other sports etc...

I am excited to JPM return. After that strong outing by de la Rosa, I'm sure he will be at the tops of driver lists for next season. Wether you like JPM or not, his speed on cold tires is very good, and with the 2005 Mclaren having difficulty creating temp in their tires, it should be good for Mclaren to have him back.
