wow is only a prototype??

i think is so ugly, but i imagine this car is born to be the rival of the gt40

but i prefer the gt40 alot

I don´t think its ugly at thw front, it even looks quite good there, but the back is pure crap :? Looks like typical 70´s design.

That is a very cool car. As everso said, way ahead of its time, and Mercedes did a lot of work on the rotary to fix one of the major problems...apex seals (where the rotor meets the block). Too bad they abandoned it...

A fast car, from all accounts. Pity that the inset of emissions controls basically deep-sixed the project. Had the car come out 5-10 years later, it might have been the beast that lived. Who knows how much different the racing world would have been with a 4-rotor (if I remember it correctly) Wankel loose :)
