Anyone know a really good video encoder!?

I have just encoded a video using Dr. DivX, and well the result wern't as good as expected! I have been searching the net for other programs but that's been to no avail. It would be much appreciated if someone could help me out!

I use Virtualdub , www.virtualdub.org , its very good for encoding video into divx xvid or whaterer you want ! :wink:

I strongly suggest checking out www.videohelp.com, their guides are great in my opinion, helped out a lot.
