^ this is a thread for name suggestions, along with the poll.

Can someone explain where Jabbasworld actually came from, what does it mean....never actually thought about it much and never read it anywhere.
I also like JW the way it is, but I'll try and think of some other names.

EDIT: that first comment was directed at malte, but has already been noticed.

I am used to Jabbasworld and I didn't think it could change But why not, I am not against the idea, www.thecarzoo.net is fun. I also thought to :

www.thegearworld.net

as a reference to both 5th Gear and Top Gear. But I wonder if you're serious or if it's a joke

Here are a couple of ideas, not much thought has gone into them (as you can probably tell).

www.autojungle.net
www.exoticplanet.net
www.novidshere.com

I'll keep thinking, as for Jabba's 2 suggestions I prefer www.themotormouth.com

Well, Jabba knows very well my opinion... basically I don't really like such radical changes LOL, so for me it would be impossible to vote anything but JW... I perfectly understand the point behind the name change idea (wich was around for quite some time now).. but after so many months as JW, a change sound weird

yeah, i do like JW, but as has already been said, i can see the issues with copyrights, and the lack of the names relation to anything car related.

BTW, where did JabbasWorld come from? I kniw your name was Jabba355 on RF, but is that it?

Back to the topic, I dont think you anyone could come up with a name that sounds as orignial than JW. I mean, motormouth or carzoo etc, all sound a bit - 'just another car website' and i think that JW deserves more, as it is more than JUST a car website.

If i must give some suggestions, then how about

If the main concern is for copyrights on t-shirts and so on I'm sure many of us could settle with just a JW.

No, we never had any legal hassle over the name.. it's just that copyrights where we tried to create our shirts and shit are VERY and I mean VERY strict... basically if you draw a black line probably they will moan because black is a copyrighted color and a line is also owned by some corporation somewhere
