I cant do it.. a Ferrari 355f1 and i cant get aroudn the track in under 8 minutes .... best is 8:15.. i dont get it .. i go flat out and i mean flat out.. the handling of the car is awsome also

and i cant do it

I've been playing alot of Forza this week, ill try to run a few laps and let you know what time I get later. Might not be till friday, freakin game save got corrupted :x so im currently working on that, plus test thursday where I have NO idea whats going on

btw, I also use a gamepad, so there will be no difference there.

Well you need to remember that some poeple have no lives, and play the game alot. :roll: Also, they have wheels and such, I'll do a lap ASAP and to give u an estimate on what a good lap is with a pad.

wow, are we talking about stock Ferrari 355s? Because I just did two fairly consistant laps in a row at 8:45. Those were the only 2 clean(ish) laps I had, and they were in a row, but man, even 8:20 sounds fast, much less 7:40.

I'm feeling rather low if those were stock F355s....

well i dont now waht it is .. i think it might be just me .. i mean i cant even get a GT race skyline around the track in under 8 minutes.. it seems impossible and yet people are getting around ther ein 6 minutes with faster cars LOL saleen s7

The secret is the fact that the Forza version of the track is so pathetic (a slightly narrower version of the PGR2 track) that there are many places once yo uget the rythme right, you can take flat out... like the whole back section up to the carousel.

I managed to do 3 back to back sub 7 minute laps in the final race to win the Porsche 962.

That was with the F333SP on stock setup using the controller.

You just have to realise the tarck and physics engine of the game allow for really unrealistic speeds on certain parts of the track.

You have to just get into the "Forza Zone"

the FM1 fanboys over at ForzaIs TheGreatestSinceSlicedBread.Com will have you believe the game is a simulator.. but its just really a slightly slimmed down NFS - fun but you must not approach the Nurburgring as if you would in a real car on a real track.

Just trust the grip is insane and the speds in some secitons are unbelievable. In that aspect the Forza Nurgurgring dissapoinrted me - compaired to say GT4's version.
