LMAO at the X5 taking the natural crash position for an SUV: on its roof.

It is a wonder no one died. Looking at those pics I would just assume the drivers didn't make it. I will say this though, even with all the damage the M5 sustained, the cabin, at least on the driver's side, is in pretty good shape.

I can see why people feel so much safer in SUVs but had it been a 5er vs a 5er OR an X5 vs an X5 maybe no-one would be in a critical condition

Crazy accident. I'd say both drivers were dead from looking at the pictures. Thanks to new technological safety features they were saved. Im really impressed.

The one thing the pictures dont show is the AUDI that understeered off the road trying to keep up with the M5.

It now seems that the driver of the M5 has a convertible. All's he has to do is reattached the right side of the car, and the wheels. Lucky him...

 How hard do you have to hit to blow apart a McPherson strut!! (the spring is laying right next to M5 about the middle of the body)

I would say the M5 driver is about 10x luckier than the X5 driver. If i can find the offset frontal crash test video of the X5 VS the Chevy S10 Blazer you'll see why. The X5 driver is probably going to buy a new one when they get the insurance check!!

I have no sympathy for the driver of the M5. If you have diplomatic immunity then you were probably elected to the position either directly or indirectly by the public and you should have the gratiude to the general public the keep them safe on the roadways as well as yourself, as they are the people you serve one way or another.

With that said, Thamar, would you be so kind as to send me that S62 engine?

That's one crazy accident. The M5 occupants are really lucky to survive this. Judging from the pics it looks pretty fucked up.
