Default Rosso Corsa vs. Rosso Scuderia

I'm a little ashamed to ask this question, considering I'm a Ferrari nut, but whats the color difference between Rosso Corsa and Rosso Scuderia?

I know Rosso corsa was made to "correct" the true Ferrari Red, which was distorted by cameras. So, cameras aside, is Rosso Scuderia the true Ferrari red?

Which one do you preffer?

P.S.: Would be great if someone could post the difference between the two

Actually, it's the other way around. Rosso Scuderia has a bit more orange in it and matches the colour the F1 team (Scuderia Ferrari, hence the name) uses. Rosso Scuderia looked better on TV and in photographs, you're right about that. The colour they used before appeared less bright than it actually was.
Rosso Corsa is more or less the old Ferrari red. The really blood red. As far as I'm concerned that is the true Ferrari red, at least when you rule out the pre sixties decades.

EDIT: I definately prefer Rosso Corsa. Forgot to answer that question...

The problem is that pics don't really show it. You have to see it with your own eyes on a car to be able to judge the colours. You could spot the difference in pics, but then you wouldn't have a good idea of what it looks like in real life.

I think the red of Rosso Corsa is more agressive and sexy than Rosso Scuderia, although Rosso Scuderia its the official ferrari color I thin the red of my avatar is the best.. :fadein:

Very very very interesting , i was wondering why that ... so Rosso Corsa looks better in real life and Rosso Scuderia looks like Rosso Corsa in the pics ... huh ... confusing

You can also see the differences in die-cast model cars. My 360 modena is Rosso Corso and my 360 CS is Rosso Scuderia. The 360 modena is quite a bit darker than the CS. I believe the Enzo and CS are the only production cars that you can get with Rosso Scuderia, the rest are Rosso Corso.
