The name of the car is a little misleading.

It is a front mid-engined car, just like every C5 and C6 Vette - and only barely, because the engine is behind the front axle

That was kind of humorous in that he didn't realize that it was his company in charge of the "style points" or engineering portion of the contest. From what I could tell, the points were based more on style and build quality. IE, the Detroit Speed cars suffered from their various paint chips (they see track time all the time.) I have a video of this El Camino going off in my corner, 5b. Maybe I'll get that posted on youtube in not forever.

pro touring? Does that mean they are in favour of driving long distances or that they're paid for it?
