Some absolutely beautiful shots there - It must have been really fun. How do you find the 996 runs in cold temperatures? Here in Canada we get down to -20 celcius -4 F
I'm curious to know how it performs

Ha ha! Nice report ... Glad you got back home w/o dinging anything. I wonder how it will perform with proper winter tires instead of the performance tires that you have on it now.

had no idea you were a porsche owner
sounds like some fun weather, i get quite used to (and fed up with) by this time of year... of course, i do have 2 more wheels getting the power down then you do... but yeah, its not uncommon to go sideways at 60-80... hell, ive done it in parking lots above 60 mph/100 kph but i wouldn't go that far on the street but yeah, 30-40 is acceptable street hooliganism to me
nice car

Yeah - this weather sucks - it was about almost 78 degrees today,so heat soak is a bummer, losing horsepower in this coldweather...
everytime I see images like this,I look and say "Nice... looks like you had fun"
then go back to loving the fact that I no longer live in the snowbelt

Cool, I'd love to drive my car in the snow someday too.
Nice to see you getting out and using the car, is it your daily driver?

i think there is no change of performance in cold weather because its's a watercooled engine. but i know that a friends 993 goes much better in wintertime.

I drove my 944 turbo last winter, It was great! basically driving sideways all the time
didnt even have full insurance on it, so if I would have crashed it I wouldnt have gotten anything, but I am a sensible driver so I didnt get a scratch on it.
your car looks great in the snow!
