Default 2014 Detroit Auto Show Top Performers

Here is a few of the new looks and top performers of the 2014 Detroit Auto Show:


The Toyota FT-1. This will compete with the Nissan GT-R and the Acura NSX.


2014 Porsche 911 Targa. WIll either have a 3.4-liter 350-horsepower flat-6 or a 3.8-liter 400-horsepower engine.


2015 BMW M3 and M4. The M3 sedan and M4 coupe will be equipped with a twin-turbochared 3.0-liter inline-6 that give a slight horsepower bump to 425 and a massive 111 lb-ft torque boost form 406 lb-ft for 2015.


2015 Lexus RC F. The RC F comes powered by a 5.0 liter V-8. This ride is up 64 horsepower from the Lexus IS F.


Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge Concept. This Q50 is said to produce up to 500 horsepower and 600 lb-ft of torque. Said to be helped "tuned" by the Infiniti Red Bull Formula One racing team.


2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06. The Z06 comes with a supercharged 6.2 liter V-8 that pumps out 625 horsepower and 635 lb-ft of torque. 8 speed available in this bad boy too!


Kia GT4 Stinger Concept. The GT4 is rear-wheel drive and powered by a 2.0 liter 315-horsepower turbocharged 4-cylinder engine. This is Kia's "race car".


2015 Volkswagen Golf R. VW has upgraded the Golf to 296 horsepower, six speed manuel or DSG and is lighter. The Golf R is expected to be larger and more sophisticated than the outgoing car, trying to distract people from buying the Subaru or Mitsubishi.


2015 Subaru WRX STI. Promised to be more refined and comfortable, the WRX STI has gained more than 200 lbs since its 1st model in 04. Will be a great performance value.


Mini Cooper John Cooper Works Concept. No horsepower has been revealed yet for the new concept, but analysts believe the Coop will exceed over 220 horses. Mini Coopers have been becoming more are more popular each year.


Nissan IDx Freeflow and IDx Nismo Concepts. The IDx Freeflow and Nismo are back-to-basics styles, details and simplicity. The Freeflow is said to be powered by a 1.2-1.5 liter 4-cylinder and the Nismo delivers power via a 1.6-liter 4-cylinder similar to the Nissan Juke's.
