just got done watching it. (gotta love the DVR)

that safety car period was just what the doctor orderd to keep the excitment going in this race Way to go Massa, congrats on your first victory!

Really amazing battles midfield. Just what F1 needed to spice up the closing races.

Alonso vs Schumacher was absolutley nerve wracking. I thought Schumi had him until he washed out going through turn 8. I can only hope this excitement carries into Monza

Great race, great track. Went there last year and the layout is truely phenominal.

Those final Schuey Alonso laps were nail biting and a definite highlight of the season, superb.

I think now Schumi is going to have to turn it up a little bit, Renault have got over there mass damper problem and I think will push Ferrari to the end.

Can't wait for Monza!

CUM ON ALONSO AND RENAULT KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!!!!!!!
Err...

Why do people not seem to like Schumacher? Sure, he's often too aggressive on the race track, but he's not the only one.

after what schui did at monaco people still support him that just shows there glory supporters and he has cheated on more than 1 occasion look what he tried to do to villeneuve in 1997 to win the championship
So? He's still a good driver and definitely deserves to win the championship.

alonso is a top driver a top man and a top competitor and deserves to win the championship.
How do you know he's a top man? Do you know him well? In any case, he rides on the success of the Renault development team. In an average car, he's nowhere near the top.

Guys I hate to be the bearer of bad news but the Turkish GP may well lose its right to host a race next or forever in fact. Basically, some leader of Turkish-Cypriot state manged to give Mass His trophy....Just read the article.

http://www.itv-f1.com/News_Article.aspx?PO_ID=37182

Great!! Finally a circuit by Tilke that I very much enjoy and has been embraced all around the world, and it's going to be banned.

I read something about Jerez in 97 doing something far less serios yet was forbidden to ever hold an F1 race.

And also when ferrari were fined $1m for swapping rubens and schumi on the last lap at austria 2002.

“The National Sporting Authority of Turkey (TOSFED) and the Organisers of the 2006 Turkish Grand Prix (MSO) have been called to appear before a specially convened meeting of the FIA World Motor Sport Council in Paris on September 19, 2006, to hear charges that they have acted in breach of the FIA Statutes, the International Sporting Code and the 2006 Formula One Sporting Regulations,” said a statement on the FIA’s website.
Very vague from the FIA. You'd think that they had broken some sort of hard and fast rule...

They recognised the Cypriot breakaway in Turkey as a state. Big deal, I say.

There is a Cypriat state in Turkey. If Turkey invaded it and drew borders and theres loads of Turks living there and NATO can't be arsed to kick there asses out then it is. Just because the Greeks don't and the UN don't doesn't mean the FIA should be this stupid about the 2nd best track in the world.

OK, then. Good for them. I think the FIA are just making a mountain out of a molehill, but partial blame for this mess should be placed on the organisers as well. They should have known.

Remove the Turkish GP and reinstate Imola. I'm all up for it!
