Default Shaving Cuts...........pain in the ass!

Blah! I was shaving this morning and was lining up my side burns, and bam I did my usual "press real hard on the skin to make a perfectly straight line up" and bam I cut my self...

Now I have an inch long cut on my cheek! Dammit!

Whats the worst you ever got it? For me this is the worst.

but I don't really have thick hair, I am jewish but thank god for my german roots and the fine hair

I've sliced the adams apple a few times, god that's annoying. It just loves to keep bleeding
I'm not convinced on the electric shavers, they wouldn't cut anywhere near as close as a decent blade?
Also my friends have varying opinions on direction, i shave down on the face, yet i stroke the blade upward on the neck.. This eliminates shaving rash most of the time personally.

i like to stick to the electric most of the time its more convenient. though i have to use a blade on my neck. But if i have a date or something where i need to look good ill go with a blade all around. and i shave against the grain it hurts a little more but i think it is much closer.

to avoid cuts, make sure the skin is very moist and always shave with the grain. Against the grain, its probably just a matter of time till you cut yourself.

well, hmm.... my largest cut has never been more then a milimeter or two... and bleed time, never more then a few minutes.

the only one that happens every now and then is a mole-ish type thing under my nose, above my lip. i cut it ever few months or so... usually when the blade is running dull.

damn, i need a new blade soon
