The Bugatti race!
:shock: :shock: :shock: I know most of you have not seen it yet, so I won't spoil anything just yet! Lets just say it is every bit as good as I was hoping!!! 8)
It sounds amazing, it kept throbbing past my tv lol. Think Clarkson may have made a mistake on the stats; but I'll wait to see if I mis heard or if anyone else spots it.
New stat that I did not know (maybe you all do! lol) Each Bugatti cost £5,000,000 to build!! That is one hell of a loss.

It probably costs that ... 4 years of engineering things that are at least twice as complex as anoither supercar ...

WHY NO LAP AROUND THE TRACK :x
The Race was amazing, but i was really hoping to see a lap by THE STIG break the lap record in that Veyron (Which i am most confident it could of  )
Oh and by the way im new here, just to say hello

Are you talking about the Veyron piece that was in the TG episode this past season?
Also I really like the Veyron but have been suprised with the hype around this car. I really dont understand it. And I know this has been talked about in other threads and on other boards but its very insulting to the Sallen S7. The Veyron may have 1000HP but its a freaking tank! The S7 may have 250 less HP but weighs 1350 lbs less!!!!! And the S7 has been around a lot longer than the Veyron and has been produced in higher numbers than the Veyron!!
I seriously doubt the Veyron could beat an S7 around the N-ring or around the Top Gear track. They need to feature the S7 on Top Gear or at least acknowledge it!

what about the 806bhp CCR? that'd be fast too.
another thing.. Jeremy does say a lot of BS sometimes... but the Veyron could cost a lot more than a million pounds if you count all the amount spend on R&D!
if you ask me... the world's fastest car (straight line or track) should always be german, since they invented cars! VW just showed that you CAN make a reliable, comfortable car which is also the fastest!

I'm aware of it. But he said that in a bad way and many people got it wrong that Bugatti is making that big loss on every car thay sell now and the more they sell the higher the loss is etc. Which is rubbish. The Veyron cost about 1 billion euro to be developed but now they are making profits on every car they sell.
Well, Clarkson is capable of thinking its the actual build cost of the car imo, as he also thinks the Enzo is the F60 and a lot of other his comments and thoughts are a bit dumb.

how u can develope car with 1 bilion euro investments and now sell each for 1 milion euro and make profit ? u re wrong
