I just came back from work and saw all the responses, I was expecting a lot, but not this much!

As I have read all the responses, the final gifts to get the Hammond family are these:
- Get Well card, with all the names of contributing members in it ( and Jabba's idea that December is the official contributing month )
- Jabbasworld T-shirt or Polo with a special design for Hammond alone (maybe something with a Hamster sitting in a Porsche? )
- Flowers for his wife.
- 2 Teddybears (out of JW shop) for his daughters

As for it getting all there: Is there a member now standing up and saying he will deliver it personally? This is very important otherwise it will have to be sent by courier, and I really hate that idea personally because you never know what happens to it

/\/\ Also if it will be delivered by a JW member personally he can get the Flowers and Fruit locally, because this is impossible I guess with a courier.

BTW how long does it take before something arrives out of the JW shop?

As has been said, i am a 30 min walk from the hospital itself, altohugh dont have a car at present time, so logistically getting large amounts of gifts to the hospital could be an issue.

Needless to say, and without wanting to sound like a cock, this is a monumentally busy nd important time for me as my first lectures begin monday.

However if someone wants to contact the hospital and find out what their policy is on handing over gifts in person, providing i can get round the logistical issues i would be happy to help.

PS - I have never broken a single bone in my body and my pain threshold is monumentally low, therefore i may have to decline jabbas most gracious offer of GBH.

I would like to get him a toy dragster, or other car model, I think everyone will be getting fruit, so lets get him something different.

How about a strip-o-gram, although I guess his wife might not like that, although I guess its not meant for her, and in fact he might like a bit of one on one action.

Yeah a toy dragster could be an idea, but won't that bring the bad memory about the crash back, maybe stupid me saying this but ok.

As for the fruit, I will drop that idea

I think he would see the funny side of it, if he doesnt, then we can say that it was ronins idea.

Oh well, I am sure no one else will be sending him it, so it would be at least original.
