Default IE7 = Mozzilla Firefox?

well, I finally upgraded my IE to no. 7.... and i'm surprised to say that I really like it... except for the modifications you can easily get for Firefox, the new IE seems like it fills the gap between IE6 and Firefox quite nicely...

BTW, IMO it is uselsss to use IE7's 'tools' for anti- phishing... just more processor power being used and wasted.

One for sure is that IE7 will always run faster than Firefox running in Windows.. thanks to M$ programming the Windows process scheduler to run anything with the Microsoft name more than any other process.

IE7 sucks. Same web display issues as IE6. Yes it has tab browsing, yes it has better security, but it still doesnt comply with web standards, notably CSS standards, which means that it still butchers quite a few websites.

How can you call your browser a finished product if you can't even comply with something that all the other -smaller- browsers can.

with a dial-up network, Firefox 2.0 runs much, much faster than IE... Opera is quite good as well (an added feature is that it supports torrent downloads)

Well, seeing as there was a patch out just 6 days after the official release date says it all. I'll stick to FireFox, thank you very much. Besides FF has great plug ins and pages containing java applets run much slower on my PC when using IE.
