i'll be impressed when i see the transmission options 
so far, DXC has proved to be only enthusiast-worthy when a cirtain V10 is involved... i hope a 5 speed/6 speed is involved with this car. slying may bwe spot on... but aerodynamically... this car wont acutally compare with the likes of the 4th gen F body, or the 05 mustang (desinged with 67 stang+wind tunnel in mind)
i hope its as cool as it looks

I really like the back, but the front looks like it might have too large of a bumper to grill ratio.

I agree. But to me the front looks to short and long. If they made the grill area abit taller, not as tall as the aston martin vanquish, but a bit taller, I think it would look better.
Rumor is that it has a very powerful 392 racing engine in the car.

It looks nice, however it looks like a concept car.
When it is, I hope the production version will look similar to this

Looks good but it seems that manufacturers have some trouble to invent new designs. All the cars are reinterpretations of old designs. It's true that they were so nice

There are a lot more people with a lot more money that will spend most of it on "the good old days" look - witnessed by the hundreds of thousands, and millions in some cases, spent on hotrods at auctions.
Not everyone can pay $300,000 (or even $90,000) for an orginal Challenger etc... but many people can and will pay $30K for a cool cars.
Millions and millions and millions of Mustangs sold has proved this to be true.
US manufacturers are in the trouble they are BECAUSE they tried to meet the Japs, Krauts, Poms and EyeTies....
People want "yesteray" when it is nostalgic and true to form/function.... can you say New Beetle success, New Mini Success??
Bring on decent "clones" of the past - not watered own "euro-friendly" versions.
That's where the money is.
