Best DVD to DIVX software !
Any input is welcome, best quality in 700mb i think ... Some software that keeps the aspect ratio and an awesome quality audio .

I use AutoGK (GordianKnot) because it's simple to use but for the best quality I think you will have to use Divx pro and VirtualDub.
Jabba is more uptodate than me on this, he would give better advices.

true dat.... but use Xvid
just use DVD Decrypter to make an iso on your HD then use that iso for AutoGK

Sure xvid is better than divx ? im making some test now with autogk software ... is truly good !

I forgot about Dr. Divx 2.0, it's free and you have to use Divx6 and it also gives good results

In some test it is better then DivX but on the whole the quality is the same. The only "but" is that xvid is totally free.
DVD Decryptor to land the *.vob on your HDD. Then you can use ImToo DVD Ripper, it's very easy to use but it's not free Or you can use the good old freeware FlaskMPEG.
