What's wrong with the bikes? Thrill seekers enjoy them as average joes do.

The GSX-R1000 should be fun also

Was a bit cautious when opening this thread.. The thread title seemed possibly concerning.

... Good job on the bike Erez, keep us posted on the bike of choice!

hehehe i know the title just came to me
as for a first bike, since i'm back in Israel, the european rule of 33hp for the first year applies here..
so I'm thinking about the new ninja 250R as a first bike for a year, and then i'm hoping that after a year i'll have enough skill not to die with the move to GSX-R600 or maybe an R6, and when i'll move back to the states, I'm thinking of a 1098 or the new KTM RC8.. but that's just drooling over the future..
BTW- i have to bitch about the taxes here again, the 250R is gonna run me about $13-$14.5K (!!)
and insurance (just liability) about $1,200 a year.. not so great to be back.. i miss the cheap life in the US..

Welcome to the addiction.

Buy my bike, I'm selling it. It is far from a beginner bike though.
You know you want it.
