looks great - didn't think the black/chrome would suit the red, but it definitely stands out. :good:

that was another reason I went for this look, I don't want to look like every other Rex on the street.
We have a big cruise tomorrow (~100 WRX's expected) - and I better be the only one with red paint/black wheels!

Great work  I am not a fan of black/grey on red, it is stunning
But you still have to switch to a real rear wing

I want one but they cost around $800 - crazy just for a wing.

Just dump the stock one, sell it for a couple of hundreads and your balance will be +200 instead of -800 and you'll also save some kg

I didn't look at it that way....
I already had a buyer for the stock wheels at $775 but that fell through, so now I will re-advertise them for $850.

Far out! Now that is tasteful mate. Black rims on red cars always make them look aggresive. With that chrome lip too, nice touch.
Are these the rims you were talking about on F-chat? are you using the spacers?

^ yes those rims, and I'm using the 5mm spacers on the fronts.
I rang my insurance company and listed the wheels/spacers as mods (and had my premium adjusted - i.e. UP ) and they didn't have a prob - so its all in writing.
