there was an article in Road and Track a while ago about McLaren and MBenz makin mid-engined cars..that arent an arm and a leg...that'd be pretty cool

You people have no imagination...

I meant something like VW's single seater, 100km to 1L concept. Or Mercedes's SUV-luxury car-GT-estate R-class... or their 4-door coupe.

I meant a NEW kind of vehicle, not an update or an ultimate version of something companies are already offering.

Take the SegWay for example... that was new.
