Default My Geneva 2004 pics (UPDATE - 60 NEW pics on page 5)

OHOHOH! It took me the whole day yesterday to edit all the pics I took, and now I'm about to write comments for all of them! I must be crazy, definitely crazy, but as already said, I don't like to post pics and stop... I will try to be as straightforward as possible.

Already posted in the preview pics. This was the first car that my eyes saw, when entered! And what a sight, very very nice and this is one of the rare angles that make the 645 nice also in picture!

I entered the Motorshow from Hallee 7, dedicated to tuning and all sort of accessories.. so that's why you see this Modena with bling bling wheels on the Momo stand.. but it wasn't that bad afterall

I'm not really into onboard hi-fi installation, but I had to take at least a picture.. this was an Alfa 147

5-Series, another shape that only a few love. I'm between them, and with BBS wheels you can't go wrong! No need to add anything else to this car!

Very dark pic.. even worst w/o Photoshop, but this tuned GTA was pretty damn mean!

And also a Vette, to show you we have american muscles here too

There were also quite a few 350Z on the tuner's stands. This one was not maybe the best one, but easy to shoot...

I don't really like the new Golf V, but this one on the AMAG (the company that reunite VW, Audi, porsche and Skoda) stand was clean and well presented.

An imposing Cayenne!

What about a retro-style version?

Fiat Trepiuno + lady. She was already pretty pissed of LOL and it's just the second day.. but that job should be terrible.. to stand there all day long, smiling at horny males.. Anyway, the Trepiuno is damn cute IMO.. sure a lady's car, but very cute! Sadly Fiat seems not interested in a production version

Already on Lancia stand.. everybody knows you have to go there to see the best ladies and this year was as always! Best outfits, highest heels and most gorgeous ladies!

This one is priceless... every year they place a car there.. not on a podium, where ppl can actually enter and taste it.. but they always put also a model, on the driver's seat or the front passenger one... it's almost sad to see how everybody tries to see her pussy and some dudes stand there for hours I guess... but she must be damn strong as she acted like if she was there alone I remember last year there was like this one an Ypsilon, and again a lady.. she was on the passenger seat.. we entered the car, I was on the back seat and a friend of mine in the driver's one.. he tried to communicate with her, but she was really on another planet.. she simply completely ignore everybody... anyway nobody is intersted in speaking to her usually... those legs speak for themselfs

And the third Lancia lady.. poor pics.. not to self.. next time don't shoot with the bright Lancia logo behind her

After Fiat and Lancia, all the other stands seems dead LOL! And Lexus didn't really had some big hitter.. sure this IS300 was nice as most Lexus, but not so special maybe

The new GS is quite sexy, in pics like in the metal.. pretty nice and light shape IMO!

I never liked the SC and looking at the very few SC around my region, I fear I'm not the only one.

Crazy concept on Toyota's stand, but exagerated.. nobody was even looking at it...

Another strange concept.. the japanese always bring them in force, but well, this one was pretty boring just to watch at it LOL

The first F1.. and as always, no idea why, you can't find one of them on the ground.. or maybe just a couple.. all the others are always on the walls LOL!

Rinspeed's crazy machine! There were also some videoclips playing on various monitors on its stand... that thing flies on wather!

Also in the main rooms there are various tuners specials spread around.. this AC Schnizer X5 was to much for me...

While this Boxster was cute, but hard to shoot proprely

OK, ugly ass car, but when I saw it I remembered Top Gear's episode when Jeremy sit in it and can watch forward, over the windshield

Not sure why I shoot this offroader Fiat Idea

Terribly sexy! No more to add!

Another sexy Alfa, an nice to have it there in the middle of the people!

I just love carbon fiber

And from the back!

Autodelta took a 156 GTA sportwagon and added some spice to it!

Sadly the pics are terrible

Ok, I wanted to shoot this 147 GTA and its sexy wheels, but that dude was immobilized there.. I waited some 2 or 3 minutes.. I guess it was a statue.. he didn't move so I just took the pics and WTF

Oh nice.. another concept car prefiguring our future cars?

The GT.. bad picture, but the car is one of the most beautiful Alfas of the last years for sure!

And here we are approaching the first supercar ; with ths nice Turbo cabrio!

A "normal" 996 TT. I always see this exhaust at Motorshows, but it seems just very few customers tick it as an option. I saw maybe just one on the road.

The Boxster S, anniversay edition

And the Carrera GT finally... it's the second time I see one in the metal.. it's STUNNIG!

Here you can see a glimpse about how badly Porsche stand was sadly presented.. right in front of the CGT you can see GT2 and GT2... very close to each other.. hard to take pics sadly..

Details..

And again carbon.. this time it's the GT2's wing

And then I turned around and shoot the CGT again

Here basically I almost had to step into the CGT encolure.. and of course it's a crappy and blurry pic...

The Turbo from the front... again blurry

The 911 Targa

A "normal" Carrera

from the front

The GT2 from the front.

And also Porsche took in Geneva one of its race cars... can't wait to see meybe a LeMans prototype there

The nose of the GT3

And again the racer

Th eback wing of the GT3.. I know I seem to jump allover the place.. I could have arranged the pics in the right order, but this way you can see the confusion that reigns in my mind at such events

CGT again

This is the C4S cabrio

The first Cayenne Turbo.. little on the sissy side with this shade of silver

The S with different muffler.. I wonder if it's an aftermarked one, like for the Turbo, I guess so

And the Cayenne V6.. blurry LOL

Time for some frenchies the rally version of the C2... the picture was to blury

This was the C2 VTR.. we can't just consider supercars

The stunning C4 WRC Concept!

A strange concept on Citroen's stand... one of the less thrilling ever I think.

The C5 estate as seem by Carlsson, as featured in many car magazines

The car that is killing the competition in the Paris-Dakar lately

The "forgotten" Lancer you know, just the plain model... in estate form.. while the Impreza in "normal" trim (not WRX or STi) is pretty common, I think there is just one "plain" Lancer around here

Good luck in 2004 for this come back ;

Interesting display for the new Colt that took most of Mitsu's stand

And here is the Lancer that we are used to call "normal"

Its engine bay

More Colts.. I really loved the way it was displayed for its launch

This CZ3 concept was already seen if I remember correctly.. it was still there this year

EWWWW!!

re-EWWWW!!!

But Jeep's stand, like in 2003 had this very cute device.. water was falling, forming words or simple shapes.. you can barely see a "Jeep" falling there... charming!

I don't like the Crossfire, but there was a lot of ppl checking it out.. especially ladies

I wonder if such car will ever find it's place in our small roads...

A global view of just a little part of the show.. lot of ppl around.

The sporty Crossfire.. still not for me I guess.

Coupé and black.. still nothing LOL

Interesting how the G has still it's place! And the G55 is sexy! Way better than the ML IMO!

Another nice AMG... C55 this time

The CLS.. in green... nice shape afterall!

The base model of the new SLK lineup. I think I have to get used to it...

Hehe, where there is an SLR there is also this nice sculpture usually so guess what's next

Here it is, the SLR

This reconstruction seemed so real

Back on the SLR

DTM anyone?

A big CL500

Stretched S500

Maybe the ugliest concept around?

Another car that can't miss from a Motorshow.. same place same color as seen in 2003.. I guess if they actually moved the car LOL!

Bling bling effect!

A couple of shots of the inside

Heaven for me on BMW's stand!

BMW's "individual" department always has a couple of cars to display how much you can personalize your experience

One of the cars that attracted more attention.. the 645 Cabrio

Superb wheel!!!

Plain sexy

Nice, even compared to the 6 IMO

These 3 guys were the only ones interested in the X3

Big and nice 7-Series

Another one

An M3.. no CSL around this year to avoid distracting from the M5 Concept maybe.

Another 645 cabrio

As you can see... the F1 have to be on the wall

This car will probably be the best saloon of the next years!

Almost boring afterward

There were a couple of "security" cars too!

The best seller in its cathegory... and in his new and revised top of the range form

Oh, another?

!

The new 5-series wagon was not really noticed with all the 6-Series around!

The 100EX... to damn big LOL

The Mini stand was really to much.. maybe 10 or 15 different Minis displayed.. almost a waste of space when you see how cramped Porsche was to show all its models..

Bad pic, but the queen is there.

More Mini

More Rolls

Coope S Works

Another Mini Cabrio obviously

The 407 Silhouette from the distance

Artistic shot always a Mini hell

The Works from the front

And the 407 Silhouette again

Special edition to commemoraty the vistory in Montecarlo

And again the 407.. very nice!

The Forfour... nah..

Brabus version

Brabus Roadster

Again Brabus

The 307 CC IMO is very well done

Ok, the 407 was sure the hardest car to shoot, no doubt.. there were quite a few on display on the ground, but all of them, full of ppl!

The restyled 406 coupé

These two were un-reachable, so I had to shoot them

And this was taken with a bit of luck

Of course there was the 307 WRC on display too, although IMO it was just a plastic fake considering the very darkely tinted windows

For people wanting to wait for that, a nice way to distract from the real cars

In the meanwhile the 307 WRC continued to rotate

I have nothing against an estate Jag.. and this one is a beauty!

Well.. where there is a wall, there should be an F1 somewhere...

A diesel Jag is harder to accept than an estate IMO.. but “sadly” in Europe it’s becoming the biggest market...

The perfect color

The S60R

No idea what this was about LOL

A car designed by women.. the dildo car?

V50, very nice

DB9 Volante.. to die for!

With a roof, still nice

No idea why I didn’t first complete Aston’s lineup... an ST170

Vanquish

You could play also on Ford’s stand

The crazy Range Rover concept

Classic shapes never die

There was an hidden DB9 in an enclosed space, for customers I think.. but my long arm helped to have a sneak peak

Ford Vision

Some Fiesta RS and ST shots (happy jon_s?)

Another nice ST, the 220 wagon

One of the RX-8 on display.. strange color

More conventional color, but chrome wheels?

Will this small sporty Mazda hit the road?

An hydrogen propulsed RX-8... not many infos about it

Don’t ask, I don’t remember LOL

More tuners

Not really much hype for the SV.. it was there in a very small space, nobody around it to admire it...

A Thunderbird in a plain horrible color shade

The little Lada racer. I love the Supertrapp muffler!

Uhm... I fear I don’t remember on who’s stand was this “Black Jag”

Lorinsen’s stand was impressive!

Sportec has also some nice cars around.. and I love their wheels!

Very mean Boxster

A special stand for Brabus’ Maybach! And strangely enough, not much interest in it!

Compared to last year when they displayed the Boxster based GTS, Stola took this strange Lancia based limo this year...

Nice racing NSX

WTF?!?!? This should be a Formula 3000 car! An F1 can’t simply be on the floor!!

Racing S2000

Nice NSX, never seen one in red before

And the little sister, always in red

The HSX concept

Very aggressive Accord estate concept

And another concept, based on a Civic this time

Uhm.. not the most desirable sporty little car maybe

A couple of concepts

Colin’s

There was more interest in the RX-8 than in the 350Z

The Mk 2 Clio V6 is very nice for sure!

The Modus concept

The new Clio 182

Lancia Stilnovo…

Familiar shape?

Another new CC will hit the road soon

The sporty version of the Mégane

To change a little from F1

But then..! .. BTW, is this considered a wall?

The Wind concept.. pretty nice

The most boring stand was Toyota’s for sure.. only grey cars.. all oriented in the same direction with the same distance between them.. clean but boring.

The new Astra.. will it be able to close the gap with the Golf finally?

Interesting fan job on Opel’s stand.. refreshing for sure

And the Tigra CC

I love the new Legacy

A blurry STi

Playtime again

Go Peter

An Ibiza Cupra shooted form Subaru’s stand...

A plain WRX

Misterious car.. based maybe on a Vette, but difficult to say...

Tuned CTS

Irmscher stand

Another mistery.. this time the interior was clearly Mercedes

Here is is again

A jump back in time.. Mini estate (by a tuner)

Zagato anyone?

One of the best concepts produced by VW lately

Despite its terrible sales stats, the Phaeton still draws some public at motorshows

Not really a great Paris-Dakar... maybe next year

No idea about this car

More Mercedes tuning

And here is a true beat.. CCR..

And last one.. with style

Last year Laraki presented some supercars.. to similar to Ferraris probably since this year the brought this monster... one the ugliest tails EVER!

The Spyker is still nice

While passing by...

Very busy area LOL.. time for a Lotus

And a Bugatti.. I wonder if this car will have the record for the biggest number of participation in car shows before hitting the road.. it probably already helds it.

Zonda’s wheel

The Roadster is stunning

Bugatti again.. sadly my memory card was ending and I had to reduce the number of shots per car

Bentley is proud about this car of course

First Audi..

Imposing Bentley!

T & R toghether

The Continental GT.. bad picture, nice color

This is a Murcielago’s powerplant

And here is the whole car

First shot of the Roadster.. I will repeat myself, but the color choice was wrong IMO

Back for a second on Audi’s stand while I was turning around Lambo’s

Again the Roadster

The Gallardo may be the cheapest of the lot, but it is still gorgeous

Again Audis

Smaller engine, still a mighty one

Yes, it goes inside there

Detail of the muffler of the concept

Not a Lambo, but fucking fast car

Not an F1, but another car on the wall.. very nice placed.. took me some 5 minutes to notice it

Also the A6 drawed much attention

As most of the other Audis

The A3 is miles ahead the new Golf IMO

Ferraris are there now! Two Scaglietti were on display... and in the metal as always, it’s completely different and better.

Another F1 on the ground.. just because Ferrari’s stand has no walls around it

And in front of it there was Maserati’s stand with the MCC and MC12

And the sexy extreme GT

Turn around and you see a 575M!

And then on the other side a Coupé

Stunning, simply stunning

I kinda like the Quattroporte!

The CS in black, striped

And then a couple of 360s

Really low on pics.. I will cover this part of the show next week-end.. here are the Vettes

And the Exige

Hummer? To bad there was no H1 around

No idea about this one.. I was almost running at that point

Last one for now

I hope you enjoyed at least 1% of that I did beeing there it’s already enough for car nuts

More pics will follow in around 7 days

You must have spent lot of time for posting and prepare everything !!
You bet! Probably the longest session at the PC in the last months!

EDIT: never mind about that, now that im reading my own post suddenly all the pics work ah well im happy again
So far the answer is no... it was one of the last stands I visited and I had no many pics left and more important, Lotus has a pretty small stand, so it's very hard to take good pics since you are almost to close to the car and if you back off, you have ppl beside you and the car..
But I will try to shoot something better next week

I have to admit I missed that.. I will try to be more carefull next weekend

have you got more pictures of the new exige?

Basically when there are so many pics in the same page it can happen that some PC+connection combo can't load them all at the first try but I'm happy you could see them all

BTW TT did you also have any pics of the DC GO(a car from India

Sorry salegosse, but you will have to fight... for the best cars it's hard to take pics, let alone step inside without having to wait your turn some minutes... of course if you are interested in Small Dahiatsu and Kias, no problem
