Heh, it's all your fault.
Seriously though, the Skyline is a nice car, but I probably won't ever buy one unless they are officially sold here.

ive never heard anything bad about the skyline and ive seen plenty of fast ones on video, but thats just it i have only seen one in person and it was at a car show. its a nice car, but for americans it practically doesnt exist. im not dissing the skyline, i think its a good car, 2turbos and all wheel drive is always good but because of its price and unavailability here i dont know much about it. if Nissan would sell them here for the same price my opinion would definitly change.

guys the point im trying 2 make is that it's a good car....
and unfortnautley it costs you so much, and actualy if u brought on direct from japan for a track car it would be pretty cheap!
something in the range of $50 000 and below (doing rough calculations)
but unfortanutaly thoes companys are making BIG profits..
by been a import yard, not a private importer

We all know it's a good car, there is no argueing that. Anyone who says it's junk needs to be beaten.
Just so everyone knows, we can get Skyline's for less than $30,000 here. but who wants a Skyline GTS?
The other major problem with a Skyline in the States is the insurance. God only knows what that will cost!
Trust me, if I could have a R34 for list price, official car (not imported) and actually had the money, I'd buy one.

I've been in many standard and modded Skylines R34's around a track and they are not that great.
They look good on the road and are very quick but are outclassed by cheaper Mitsubishi Evo's on track

I think I like both about the same, but I think around the track the EVO is better. Then again............

Skylines are cute and all but there not Super car status. Nothing under 100,000 bucks can be super car status.

the skyline is awesome, its prolly the meanest 4 door 6cyl car you can buy, and i drive some mean 4 doors often (audi S4, 13.9 sec Galant, new maximas, beemers, etc)
and in the countries where they are sold, they are a really good deal for the money, seeming the punch they pack and the performance.
its pointless to argue its price in the usA cause they where never sold here. 90k is too much for it, but seeming you can by them slightly used in japan for around 20-25k dollars thats a hella deal

I won't argue if it is a supercar, people seem to have different images of supercar's. Tiff called the Pagani a real supercar and sayed the name supercar was somewhat abused these days. And to compare a Nissan Skyline with a Pagani ... well that's not really fare, is it?
I don't think a car has to cost 100,000 bucks before it can be called a supercar. I think the radical could earn that name, certainly the :1500cc - 252 bhp version. Why? because it is faster then, about anything on the track really (stock car's). Ok, you can argue, it's not an exotic car and it doesn't look like much (in my oppinion). But it's my oppion! The same goes for the Skyline, it has it good points and for some people who like it, it might be a supercar, for others just a good sports car.

they are a thing of beauty and i absolutely love them.
whether they are a supercar or not, they alwasy get heads turning.
as for power, i think the manufacture agreement restricted them.

Yeah, stock they are 280bhp but very easily tunable to 450bhp+
The Skyline is a GT car not a Supercar, classed the same as an an E39 M3 and Porsche 911
