Default Supercar Rally 2003, pics (60+) and VIDEO FINALLY!!!

Edit - OPS my site is down, I have to move the pics because they're not wroking damn...

With some words too well, I arrived at the "Parc des Eaux Vives" with my g/f at around 2.30 pm.. I knew the cars where there from 10 am to 4 pm.. but it was a little different: not all the cars where there from the beginning, and the many arrived just minutes before the start at 6 pm..
And BTW, the list posted by st-anger in the other topic was sadly a fake.. just to tell us with cars are eligible for the race I guess

Before the cars, again a little intro

The famous "jet d'eau" in Geneva: it's something really impressive: 140 meters high (466 feet). The water at the starting point has a speed of 200 km/h (124.. mph). You really have to see it from real

The "Parc des Eaux Vives", where the meeting was held.. very nice place!

Ok, time for the cars now

So first, here are the cars that were already there when we arrived. Front view first, the back then

A Vantage Le Mans edition all alone in a corner

A strange couple: Viper and Modena together

And here we are with already one of the most gorgeous ones... a classic F50, like new

Another superb car.. the only EB110 I saw yesterday

Second Ferrari, 575 this time

First 996 GT2. There were a lot of them LOL!

The second GT2 with the second GT2

Another Ferrari, a Modena this time

First Zonda an original yellow instead of the most common grey

Yellow again, F40 this time! Droooool!

And together

Again the F40

Another car that must be in a supercar race, the 550 Barchetta

Second Viper

Another GT2!

Another F40, with some mods on it...

Another well represented car, the Venturi 400GT

Let's start with the Diablos! an SV

A strange Maserati trofeo style, but cabrio. Sorry for the blurry pic

Vanquish.. finally I heard it in the metal and the sound is really something you can't describe!

See.. not really many of them, but still a hellofabounch of supercars!

The mighty F40 engine

Ah, there was also a late entry

A global view, but not so great

And now time for the cars arrived late:

Diablo GT

Another Venturi

Again the second Zonda, and it's mighty enginebay

This car drained so much attention! While it was arriving, there were tons of ppl running behind it to film or take pics luckily I was there before them! A Gallardo!!

Maybe not really a supercar, but sure exclusive

Also the F50 showed us its engine

Later also this shiny new CSL arrived.. to bad I only got a pic, the others were blurry..

Continental T

And now, time for 3 prototypes from Peugeot

Hearts and Spades

Ad also the double diesel engined Hoggart.. with a stupid bird keeping waling on it LOL

And now, the loudest car I ever heard in my life! This was something crazy, I heard it from very very far away while I was down in the park eating a sandwich.. had to run up the hill (again) and found it parking and I can assure you the sound was something you can't forget! To bad the owner was just there to say hello to some friends and didn't entered the competition

Gold .. true bling bling

Great stuff TT!

You sure had a good day yesterday. The only cars missing were the Enzo and the Murciélago. Other than that, you can't be disappointed. Two Zondas, a McLaren, Gallardo, Ferrari 575, 550 barchetta, 360, F40, F50, Diablo GT, Vanquish. Man, that's one hell of a line-up! The Spades and Hearts are great too.

The Vanquish looks stunning in that dark colour. Why are they usually grey anyway?

Thanks for the pictures!

Ok so.. my g/f was bored after some hours LOL!

No idea about the F40 :-/

As for the Murcielago, there was a black one, arrived to late for me to take a pic. Same goes for a 360 Challenge Stradale.. but both are in my short video

And BTW, the video will be available next month (nothing special and only 6 min long).. so stay tuned if you want to hear the scream of a Challenge Stradale or a M3 CSL (and so on)
