Default Chile Customs Police Ferrari Enzo

We’re amazed by the number of police forces around the world buying exotic cars to promote their services or increase awareness of various issues they’re trying to target. The Italian police force has the Gallardo, the Dutch have the Spyker C8, the Brits recently used a Lambo LP640, and now Chilean Customs officers are using a Ferrari Enzo. Considering there were only 399 made (not including the special ones), the Carabineros must have paid through the nose to acquire one, though there’s some doubt as to whether it’s real or not.

Could be real or fake, not sure.

I could understand a Gallardo or something similar in price, but an Enzo? The police forces should use that money to fight crime, not show off.

if real, then it's a PR thing like the british LP640, the show the car to get attention, that's it.

Well, the brits didn't actually buy the LP640, it was a borrowed vehicle purely for a PR stunt.

I should imagine that's what some of the other unconfirmed cases are too.

Personally, if any of the forces are actually buying these cars to use, I think it's completely inexcusable especially if tax payers are paying.
