Holy shit! I guess that everything to do with what we're talking about over here. It reflects how "good" it is to live in a certain country. Statistics show it is better to live in Canada than in the United States. Until you can prove otherwise, or that changes, you can nibble on a penis.
ok.
Your goods, and services are further taxed, which increases their cost, and out of pocket costs; no?
your average income level is also significantly lower; which leads to less economic freedom, and a lower standard of living, no?
your simply an economic n00b

LOL tell me about it

I personally dont care to throu him out if he is ruining my company, IF he wants to do better work and fix all the crap after his lousy work than I can give him a chance, that would be his motivation. But I am not paying from my money him sitting at home that I would pay too, feeding his children who will look at him as an example(thats what children do - copy a parent) and will be same lazy bitches just like he is. If I will agree with that socialistic way then I peronally basically encorage him to do nothing. Do I help him by this - no, I am helping to destroy his life cause he is loosing his ability's to handle his own life.

You are simply a moron who can't read. Read over the whole definition of Standard of Living and tell me where its sole determinant factor is the amount of goods and services you can buy with the dough you earn. Before you take me on and call me an economic noob, you should consider taking economics 101 and not sleeping through it. I'm not only saying you shouldn't sleep through it because your wallet might get stolen. You might actually learn something.

Shhh! Don't mention that! It might ruin my stance. It's actually to see a specialist, not a general physicial. I went for a check-up yesterday with no appointment and had to wait only 10 minutes. I'm going to physio now.

economics is not an opinion, it is proven time and time again, and each time, you are wrong. Why don't you transfer to UC, and try to pass our classes while also maintaining your infirior stance.

Yes, I had almost forgotten about your flawed health care system. It is severely flawed.

Can any of you twats spell? Have you heard of run-on sentences? You come here bragging about superior education and present yourself with that? It's like coming to a presidential debate in your briefs.

so you are more concerned about presentation than content it would seem which in and of itself would indicate your argument and position is backed by little fact and even less reality and all you are trying to do is appear as loud as possible and hope that if enough insults are hurled then your point of view will survive intact simply because others give up bt sorry to dissapoint you we are nto going away and are in fact correct

You get unemployment, which is decent
We've got that too.

Then you go on welfare, wich is also decent
We have welfare as well.

They even provide you with government-subsidised housing, which in most cases is a pretty nice townhouse
We have that too. Low income housing, usually apartments or townhomes and sometimes even an average family house. They are not always in shitty neighborhoods like most would think either.

You get plenty of clothes, food, etc.
Same here. Goodwill stores and the Salvation Army will provide cheap (sometimes free) clothing and furniture. Food shelters will provide groceries to anyone without question. I dont' know what the programs are called in other states, but it Minnesota we have EBT and WIC. Both of which come from the state. Basically a credit card from the state to buy groceries. This is of course, free to low income families.
The EBT card comes with a cash account well, to buy other needed items.

You can even afford to run a car
Same here. Low income familes can even get them cheap thanks to all the auto charities.

You know, it keeps you from living like a dog so you don't go around mugging people
Yup, that what it's supposed to do. But it doesn't always work. Believe it or not, but that majority of people here are honest, hard working people. But with 300 million people in this country, there are going to be a few douchebags among them.

Furthermore, you still get the free healthcare so if you're on welfare you're not fucked if you break a leg.
We have state provided healthcare and Dentalcare as well. It's called Minnesota Care here, not sure about other states. You don't have to be poor to get it either. Anyone can get it if their workplace doesn't provide it. We'll just ignore the fact that a hospital connot turn a patient away.

All that and our taxes don't come close to 40%.

Also, I've never been stabbed, mugged, shot , assaulted, touched inappropriately, raped, car jacked, or any other bullshit you seem to think every American experieces on a daily basis.

4 pages already! What the hell?

Some places are more expensive than others. It's a fact of life. Demand and supply...?

On a side note, Australian authors' bestselling books are actually cheaper in the US than here.
