I have only used Getright. Not so much after I got adsl though. Don't now if its better than Internet Download Manager or if it is "accelerating the downloads" much.

They won't really accelerate anything, but their are mainly download manager.. their main feature is the queue, not the acceleration that is barely noticeable..

I use DAP buth both DAP and Getright are good

Sorry TT but i don't agree with u totally.
Because if i do a "save as " from racingflix i get about 20 KB/sec but if i use IDM
i get around 100KB/sec ( sometimes more, sometimes less).

I think, instead of just getting one connection, the software simulates 8 dif connections saving them into 8 files and them reconstructs the 8 dif files back into one after finishing the download.

I'm not sure about this but i saw this in some internet magazine.
As i said, not sure.

No sure you are right.. opening more connections you are sure to get the max from your line, but some ppl think with DAP they can actually go faster than that.

Normally if i save w/o DAP I get some 140 KB/s (even from RF), while with DAP I can top at 155

Just watched part 1 and, pretty nice vid I have to say! I'm not really into illegal streetracing and such, but it's pretty well filmed and with nice cars!

The black Veilside Supra seems a nice beast, to bad there is not much action! The run on the highway with Hamman tuned BMWs is nice and fast The M3 cabrio is a damn fine car with a marvellous soundtrack, no doubt!

Andy's birthday was maybe a little off topic and I don't really see why the think it is so cool to drink like an idiot... I just hope they won't drive afterward BTW when they film the toilet.. I was eating in front of my PC.. I didn't really appreciate that

The Endless coverage was pretty nice.. with some infos about braking upgrades, some ladies and some racing cars

Then it's SEMA time.. again models and cars...

And after that pause it was about time for more action! And there is a nice and highly tuned 350Z behind the corner Very nice sounding and BTW, marvellous road the chosed for the test! In Cali I guess.

The place to some classic Silvia drifting action done by professional and on closed track way better than on open road

Then coverage of a drift even open to pro and amateurs of course lot of Corollas (AE86) around but even a Civic LOL! And most of the entrants even if we are in the states are anywy originary from Japan as far as I can see... afterall it was born there but non-Japanese drifter are slowly catching up the idea to do those runs with the pros and the amateurs doing a chase lap and a leading lap together is very nice!

Empirical tests continue...
Without dl accelerator i get (only) 500kb/s
with accelerator i got 1.5Mt/s. So Ã*t works at least with this file but maybe not in every case. Measurements done on daytime and at the same time.

Hope its worth downloading!

Yep, must say its worth seeing especially if u like 'tuning'!

Does anyone know what kind of setup is good for drifting? hard?
isn't that chase lap harder to master than a leading lap?

Were those roads at the end of video open roads...seems pretty dangerous driving style...

he is right TT. the reason it works with rf is because the limit you to like 6kbs if your not premium so if u use dap it will connect say 7 times at 6kbs each.
