^^^yup aero settings , gear ratio and so on , but you can go 400+ km/h in an F1 car , without the rear wing , keeping the front spoiler and the diffuser and having much more downforce then Veyron has at any given speed

And I wouldn`t be so sure that the Veyron will ever catch up

Only because of gearing - if the F1 car was geared NOT for a track it would be able to outgun the Vagrant.

The same is true for Top Fuel dragsters that get taken to the Salt Lakes..

the F1 car has termendous aerodynamic downforce, and even under extreme low DF conditions, 400 kph is still incredibly difficult to reach... however, and F1 engine + a slippery shape would equate to much more then 400 kph.

And come to think of it, for 1 million dollars that little drag start is not impressive at all.
