Anyone see Leno on Rides?
DAMN! I knew I liked his Toronado... but now i just outright envy it!! I didnt know it had a modified C5 Chassis! WOW, the car is just so nice! No details missed! And when he was driving it, AMAZING! Seemed just as easy to pull the 1000+hp beast into the garage at 3mph as it was to book around a track at 180mph. The auto-trans made it seem like it would be quite respectable even durring daily driving! What an amazing car, and amazing show. I also watched the one where Alpine builds their X5, that too was an amazing truck! Surprised I never saw it on JW first, but i probably just overlooked teh thread. This was my first encounter with 'Rides', cuz i was visiting Vermont and i dont have the channel here at home. great show.

i never got to see that episode but i did see the commericals for it. but i have to agree the show rides is an awesome show. i have caught a couple episodes of it when i can remember to turn it on, i believe it comes on tuedays at like 8 or 9 PM EST on TLC. however that might be different for many of you. there was a great episode on chip foose and his redesign of the cadillac XLR and SRX for the SEMA show a while back. anyways definitly a reccommended show.

Yeah I have the Leno episode saved on my Tivo for my teacher since he was involved with the Toronado back when it was released to the public. And I record every episode since I'm in school when it airs at 8pm. I'm working on getting a way to transfer them to PC so hopefully I can figure out a way to share them with you all soon. OH BTW tomorrow's is about another FORD prototype I'm not sure which one though, and the XLR will be on next week.
