My 124 had one "alter herr geboren 1928" owner who picked the car up at the factory himself. I paid double price for the car, 6000 EUR, but it's so "like new" it was worth it. (This was in easter 2003)

I have to agree that the old mercedes cars were a thing of mechanical genious. I seem to be seeing more and more of the newer ones in the shop though. Seems that Mercedes wants to have Jaguars old reputation in that area...not sure why though...and I really seriously doubt that their decline had anything to do with the merger since they seemed to be having increasing mechanical problems prior to it... Anyways that Mazda sounds like a fun car. any pics by chance?

hey if someone chooses to lie on here. Who really gives a crap. At the end of the day they have it or they dont. We each have our rides to enjoy. Pics are nice but you know what they can be faked too, and very easily I might add. SO just remeber this is all a faith and honesty thing. If you choose to lie so be it, but dont go around accusing everyone who doesnt' have a pic of their ride up of being dishonest. Someone might thing that you are projecting your own dishonesty on someone else.

This is my three joy rides, huh, huh... They are parked outside my old house. We still live there, but 15 juli we will rent out the blue house and move to the red house on the next picture.

New house snapped through old 124's front window: (note A-pole in lower left on picture)

Three car garage with three windows plus 5 windows in the gate. Can't wait to move in. Only ten km's from old house.

My exotic sportscar: (I have a humoristic sense on my poor mans cars)

Okai, this was my first picture post. Hope you will remove me from bullshittters corner.

Greetings from Norway, the land of small engine exBENZive cars!!

I don't think you can imagine how much problems I had last winter parking the cars in the small hill in front of the house. One day I found the VW 2 meters more forward than I left it. It's no good parking in a icy hill! Norway isn't nice when it's winter!

Well well!

Now I've had my "red rocket" on the road for a month or so!

I was at a standstill in a parking lot, and this crappy looking Ford Scorpio Estate is reversing towards my Mazda! Oh no, I slam the horn: hooooonk! And he stops 10 cm (3in.) from my front left wing!
Puh, thats a close one I think.
Then the dude looks around, doesn't se me, and starts reversing even more! I slam the horn again, and he hits my front wing! DAMN!

"Your car is so small, I could hardly see you!" he said...

Then I replyed:
"I see you have child seats in your car, I bet MY CAR IS BIGGER THAN YOUR KID!"

"Uh, oh, guess your right, I am very sorry, bla bla bla..."

Okai, he's a nice guy, but my first ever sportscar is dented!
I'm not happy.

His insurance will pay so much, that next winter, in my new 3 car garage 8) I will strip and assamble the car myself, and my car will get one new coat of the original red paint all over!

Guess I'm happy after all then!

...and the dent is so small you hardly notice it from a distance!
Happy motoring!
