I´ve just read the original German article (it was from Auto Bild as always...). This car really is what the customers have waited for. What a feeling must it be to go from 0-60 in just 2.5 seconds :shock:

That's almost 1/3rd the speed of sound...343m/s.
speed of sound depends on air pressure and temperature. 343m/s is the maximim speed of sound. *nerd mode off*

Well, I just picked a common quote of the speed of sound at sea level...obviously it varies.

Actually, I think the acceleration times were timed by Bugatti test drivers, and not journalists...
I wonder if a journalist drove a car at all - cant fint even that in text. Anyway, this is not a test, just an article about the car. I can write you one about basically any car anytime you wish - but I would not call it a test as it would be a lie ...

Where did they get the 3000 HP figure including heat and exaust losses? Would it be from using the mass flow weight of fuel into the engine / unburnt fuel out and finding the power the combustion of that much fuel?
