Blu-Ray declares Victory! Haha:

the majority of those buying these dvds do watch the features. i'm not talking about your supposed movie buffs that thinks he knows what's he's talking about but rather the one who goes out and buys the dvd for use multiple times in his hometheater.

i'm sure the ppl your thinking about are just out to rent/watch the movie once for a quick "fix" and off to the next thrill.

so to speak....

I am tired of that - been doing it for 15 years and its a pain in the arse now.

I just wanna plug n play man
I didnt understand that before , kept buying pc stuff to play 1 or 2 games a year ( i do not really like games but 1 or 2 keep me busy for a year ) , but everytime i install a new game i need more ram , more video card , more processor , last time the system shut down , had to replace the PSU , 100 dollars !!!! .

Im convinced now to buy an xbox360 , i pay 500 and can play for 5 years , no worries about buying more shit , i understand the superiority of the PS3 , but i cant buy original games , they are way to expensive in here since im a student , if i work ( next year ) winning 1500 dollars per month i could afford 3 titles per year , i wont mind then ...

This is a poor country , and we have Xbox360 for 600 dollars , wii for 500 and the PS3 for 1200 , its just stupid , even at US prices they are extremely expensive , a game retails for 100 !!! :S

Wow, that are extremely expensive prices. Yeah, PS3 games here cost $60 new. But that will probably come back down to the usual $50 later this year as more titles are released.

Read again:

But when we contacted Universal to find out if anything further is to come from the studio out of CES, they confirmed they will not be unveiling any new street dates or detailed title info at all for the duration of the show. The studio stressed that they continue to support HD DVD and are planning to announce new titles "throughout 2007."

Among the hits due in in 2007 are: 'The 40 Year-Old Virgin,' 'American Pie,' Bruce Almighty,' the 2003 remake of 'Dawn of the Dead,' 'Pride & Prejudice,' the original 'The Bourne Identity' and 'Inside Man.'

Well, I think Bourne Identity/Supremacy are big. But you are right. It seem like Universal might be getting a bit cold feet. Many are thinking they might not be "exclusive" anymore to HD-DVD only.

There was suppose to be a close door session at CES with all the big guns. Don't know what happened there, but topic of discussion was trying to get everyone together to decide on a "winner".
