Forum Wiki: Car Prices around the Eorld *The Plan*

Inspired by the "Car Prices around the World" Thread, (good on ya, Ashsimmonds), I propose a wider encompassing wiki-survey by us to get a truly global comparison of car prices. The purpose of THIS thread is to pick cars, I think four or five different ones, but at least one would have to be something that a lot of people would buy, pick a currency, and decide which exchange rate would be used (since it wavies much more than car prices), and which price would be used: MSRP, list price, or a negotiated, discounted price, which may sometimes be at cost or even a slight loss, usually to keep up sales figures.

I will begin by outlining my suggestions, feel free to add your own, and add anything that I may have missed.

The Cars
Toyota's are ubiquitous, so maybe Toyota Hilux and Corolla.
Korean cars are becoming popular, so maybe a Kia Rio
The only European cars that come here are are the luxury makes only, so maybe a Mercedes C200.
All cars would be 2008 models.

Price:
Price would be for a basic model unless there is another specification level that is outselling the others by far.

Exchange rate and currency:
We could use the Exchange rates on the day the Wiki starts, using either US dollar or Euros.
