Default Red McLaren F1

A couple weeks ago there was a red McLaren F1 sitting in the main showroom of Silicon Valley Auto Group formerly Ferrari of Los Gatos. Its long gone now of course. Ive heard there are only 7 in the U.S. ?

Pics:

Interestingly enough now their website has a picture of a yellow one on the index page....ill have to take a trip back.

Yes all the pics were definetely shot through glass. Its their main showroom they keep lit at night. I took these pics through the glass at around 2a.m.

The police station is conveniently right next to the dealership and so the cops pass by all the time. They used to hassle us a lot but now they leave us alone. Im just the local idiot with the wannabe supercar lol.

Not a great colour for the car, but a rare sighting of such a great car.

The DB AR1 beside it (in the 1st pic) also caught my attention, being only for the American market, and so rare, i havn't seen one before

Obvoiusly the pics aren't great, but its nice to know you have seen one 8)

I saw a single F1 in my live dani.. luckly it was in the wild, and sadly I had a crappy camera back then (and low battery). I am talking about the pretty special orange one I saw at the Supercar Rally in 2003. And since that car is now in the USA, I won't see it again soon :bah:

Great sighting, even if it is at a dealership!

If anyone wants to pay for my flight to Melbourne (around $600) then I will provide pics from 2 or 3 Maccas (including an LM). I just don't have the time and spare money to get over there at the moment, but damn it would be nice.....

Ferrari dealer... and I only see british cars there (three Astons and a Macca
That glass enclosure is the aston part of the dealership. They also have a lot full of ferraris. They also sell Bentleys, Rolls, Lotus elise, Saleen S7, Spyker, and lamborgini.

Last time I was there they had a daytona spyder inside.

I shared pics of a spyker, elise, lambo, a few ferarris, and the enzo about a year ago.

I can't believe that I have seen the same number of F1s as Mr. Papparazzo himself.

It must be a first. This day goes down in history. I saw a Silver one - posted on JW in the Pebble Beach thread in this section.

The car looks awesome in the flesh.

Yea the dealership is more or less split up into 4 parts. This room is mainly Astons, there is another showroom in the back full of Bentlys, they have the covered outdoor part where most of the Ferraris and Lotus' sleep and then theres another showroom across the street with some Rolls Royce and currently a Porsche Carrera GT.
