Default Full Motor Trend Comparison - ZR1 Vette vs Porsche 911 Turbo


Motor Trend is really stepping up their videos lately.

This one is a full comparison between the ZR1 and the 911 Turbo... 0-60, 1/4 mile, FULL MILE, slalom, braking, skid pad, and road course.

Guess who they picked as the winner?

Could have got the 911 with the carbon brakes to make the test fairer

Never mind the PCCM brakes, etc...

I was just surprised that the tt is so close on straight accel, with the much worse power/weight ratio.

I guess a better comparison (excluding price of course ) will come from the GT2 RS .

I think Evo magazine had figured the 911 at 3.2secs to 60....in the wet. And those Porker horses have always been well fed and chunky.

The GT2 RS would be a better comparison in every way - rear wheel drive and much lighter if half a ZR1 on top price wise
