Question about X-men 2 & Bad Boys 2
No this isn't a question like: do you think these sequals are better then the first movie or vica versa. It's car related, of course
Bad Boys 2: Some of you were complaining that they used both the 550 & 575 in the movie. I'm sorry but I can't spot the difference that easy... between the exterior I mean of course. The aloy wheels are a bit different I think and the 575 has xenon headlights but you won't notice that so easy. So what is the real exterior difference, so I could spot if it's a 550 or 575.
X-men 2: They used a Mazda RX-8 when they were escaping from the school but wasn't this a slightly modified RX-8, it seems it has a different front section... Or am I mistaken?

IMO both were very nice and I don't care if the 575 become a 550 every now and then.. the action is always frenetic everything happens so fast that you can't spot it at normal speed.. no big deal..
As for the RX-8 in X-men 2, well, it's a fantasy move, even if the car would have 7 wheels it would be ok
(BTW, I saw the X-Men's RX-8 in Geneva at the last Motorshow.. pretty cool )
Will move maybe to "car chat" beeing car related

ops: oops, sorry my mistake But I'm glad I can finally spend an hour or so on the forum... kinda missed it but I've been gone the whole time. Bought my first suit today I'm 22 but I never thought I would be wearing a suit My informatics internship is in a few months and well I think I'm going to wear it to the newyears party I'm going to...
Yeah, I thought the RX-8 from X-men looked nicer the standard model! They're using that car in lots of movies lately. Euhm they used in a video clip (can't remember wich one) and in another movie I saw lately (can't remember wich one either ops

Yeah they used a 575 and a 550 in bad boys 2. The 550 was the directors car. and they borrowed a 575 and promised that no harm would come to it, so ferrari dealer "lent" it to them. And used the 550 in all the action shots. and martin lawrence ran into a pole while driving the 550...lol...only small damage but. nothing serious.
The exteritor differences can be noticed in the spoilers, lights, and wheels obviously. You could pick it straight away from the lights though.

Aha, interesting info!! The velside is too brutal... not very nice. The mazdaspeed is ok. I have seen it on a Best Motoring video before! But I still prefer the subtle kit they used in X-Men 2
