In total there are 3 days loaded with action-packed events, luxury hotels, gourmet food and eccentric parties. Additionally the route offers amazing streets ad some of the most spectacular and breathtaking mountain passes to experience the thrill of the Alps. It is a real shot of adrenaline and the trip of your life!

This years’ Torpedo Run will be held between 11th September 2009 and 13th September 2009 true to the motto “The Italian Job”. The anniversary edition of the extraordinary mobile party - it is already the fifth annual Torpedo Run in succession - leads you to Italy: Salzburg (Austria) - Dolomites (Italy) - Florence (Italy) - Lake Como / Lago Maggiore (Italy) are the stages in 2009. You can look forward to a long weekend of sheer fun the like of which you will never have experienced before!

Torpedo Run is not a race, but an amazing experience that you will never forget. Topedo Runs unites the international participants by one common language: car enthusiasm and the flair of a mobile party!

Exclusive sportscars and exotics join the Torpedo Run every year. To mention only some of the cars being driven by teams in the past: Lamborghini Diablo SV, Porsche Carrera GT, Ferrari F430, Porsche GT2, Audi R8, Bentley Continental GT, Corvette Z06 and Wiesmann GT. The world’s fastest Lamborghini, the Murciélago LP 710 by Edo Competition, joined the event last year. By the dark paint and other modifications the Edo Murciélago almost looked like an automotive stealth bomber.

Another eyecatcher was the Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph stickered up like a US police car. The “Daisy Patrol” celebrated the Torpedo Run - like everybody else - from the beginning to the end. Already in series a Hummer H2 looks like a muscular giant. But highered, this American offroader became a real monster in the streets. Of course, the drivers acted like musclemen - with the help of foam costumes.

Whether you are driving a hot supercar, a luxury sedan, a classical or wacky car - your passion for the Torpedo Run is what counts! The locations and venues this year are something not to be missed. Each night you will stay in luxury hotels, revel in culinary pleasures and celebrate eccentric parties - the cream of the crop.

11th September 2009: Salzburg (Austria) - Dolomites (Italy)

On the first day we drive from Salzburg in the direction of Merano, the perl of South Tyrol. Our luxury domicile is spectacularly located in the Dolomites at a special place - despite the height influenced by the Mediterranean climate. You can also await entertainment in the evening, because we do not want to go to bed early with the chickens, but staying gorgeous overnight for sure.

Before arriving at the exclusive overnight stop the Torpedo Runners will spectacularly conquer the winding and attractive serpentines of the Alps, including some of the most impressive pass roads the mountains have to offer. A real shot of adrenaline! Winding roads and breathtaking views, sharp jagged peaks and snow-caped mountainsides stress the thrill of the Alps. Inside tunnels the engines of the sportscars sound like a symphony. It is hard to describe the amazing scenery. You have to experience it by yourself! Possibly there is even some snow near by a high alpine road to to have a snowball fight in the summer.

12th September 2009: Dolomites (Italy) - Florence (Italy)

From the Dolomites the Torpedo Run continues to the Tuscany - one of Italy’s most fascinating landscapes and a region offering finest gourmet food from the Chianti beef to precious olive oil and the famous as well as tasteful Chianti wine. Reason enough to taste the delicous gourmet food of the Tuscany.

The Torpedo Run stops on the way to Florence for an event loaded with action and. Night entertainment: Florence is known for its southern spirits as a place to party all night long. There we will celebrate a stylish party and stay luxury overnight.

13th September 2009: Florence (Italy) - Lake Como (Italy)

Torpedo Run follows the roads to the famous region of Lake Como / Lago Maggiore fascinating by its Mediterranean-like climate and a great scenerey. But before we arrive at Lake Como / Lago Maggiore the Torpedo Runners can look forward to a stunning event where we have fun all together.

Or location offers the perfect atmosphere for the Grand Final, including a delicious gala dinner, where we can exchange our experiences of a great weekend.
