Z4 3.0 vs. C6
One of my friends asked me about this...what to buy?
The new C6 or a Z4 with a 3.0 engine (steptronic or SMG)?
I told him that the new corvette is much better in performance, but Z4 is German made...
For example, I know that the handling of the C5 was shit above 200km/h...and the handling of the Z4 is just "perfect"...
What do you guys think?!

that new C6 is an ugly ass car I like the old one better those headlights look like they came off of a ferrari 360 and it's not even out yet

If someone wanted to give me one of them, I'd take the Corvette. There's quite few newer Corvettes here in Norway, and they cost twice the price of a Z4 here (taxes on weight, hp and volume). If I was to pay for it myself I'd chose the Z4. The vette isn't twice as good as the Z4...

In Dubai where I live the Corvette has the same price as a Z4 3.0...
So thats why he can't decide...

Yeah, ok. I'd have to take some of that back. The 2.2i is half the price. The 3.0i is somewhat more expensive. Probably like 40% cheaper than a vette.

These two cars are not even in the same class. Buy whichever one "YOU" fall in love with. Wait till the C6 comes out then get a test drive in both. Admire the lines of both cars. Check out the ergonomics and how it feels to sit behind the wheel. You will be able to tell yourself which one you want, I guarentee.
Whoever told you that the handling of the C5 is bad above 200km/h and the Z4 is perfect, lied to you bad.
I am a bit biased towards the C6 because I am a Vette guy, but the styling definately won't be for everyone. I would tell those who have based their opinion on the photos, to reserve judgement until they see the car in person. I had a friend who didn't like the look at all of the C6 from the photos. When he saw it this past week at the LA Auto Show, his opinion changed to quite the opposite and now he likes it.
I've always considered the Z3 and now the Z4 a chick car, but that is simply my opinion, nothing more. I will say, that the build quality of the Z4 will most likely be better than the C6's.

i personally hate american made car,, they just pure suck,, the only ones i like is Ford Gt and now the C6
i think it looks great exteriro, but the interior is still shitty box
but i think the performance shold be great
btw, did c6 gain weight?

i dont quite fit in a corvette, the windsheild is too short so i'll probably take the Z4

the C6 is going to be an awesome vehicle when it finally hits the streets...and I think the styling will be easier to get used to than the "flame-surfaced" Z4...and it'll certainly be much faster.
