Default I'll be leaving for about a year or so...

I haven't been the most active poster since about august, because I've been working a lot, and not using my time so much in front of the computer as I did before.. But I still have been posting on a regular basis, and read almost all the topics if I had the time...

I've been donating some, not the largest amounts, but still I'm not embarassed by the sum.

It makes me sad that Dan decided to step down, and I never saw the topics where Al decided to leave the site... But I'm sure JW will continue to be the massive forum it is, because TT is maybe not the most skilled programmer around, but his engagement is one of the best I have ever seen on any forum... 8)

My reason for leaving has not, however, anything to do with the recent turbulence here.. Tomorrow, I'll take the 5:45 AM train  to begin at least one year in the army... I'm enlisted in the Panser battalion, which is a battalion with many options for a car and speed nut.. Hopefully, I'll be driving many cool vehicles around in the norwegian woods.. In worst case scenario, I can be placed in the maintenance division though...

I may visit once in a while, but I'm not too optimistic about the time I'll get to to that, so in the meantime I wish the best for all of you and this site for the next year..

All the best to you, and hopefully you get what you want out of the army.

In a year I want to see pics of you in army uniform sliding a Ferrari in the woods....

Well, have a nice year dude! The army is a PITA sometimes, but you'll build some great memories!

I hope for you you'll put your hands on something fun to drive

Good luck with that, and I hope you get to drive a tank or two...I remember seeing some show on tv about how they train these fresh army recruits to drive tanks, and when they finally got to drive the tanks the grin on their faces was absolutely huge!
