^^well, nothing was said about when it will air, just that the BBC has given the green to continue filming footage footage for the new series. The first episode has been postponed for an undefinied period, but at least we can be certain TG will not be taken off TV.

Any idea on when the first episode should air?
Watching the 2nd episode of 5th gear was really depressing to say the least.. can't wait for new Top Gear!

Good, excellent. I don't think it was ever in doubt in BBC headquarters that Top Gear would be canned.

Great news  Though i donīt like the fact that it will take a while till the new series starts. Watching the latest 5th Gear eps left me praying for TG to return :roll:
