Default [Poll] Anyone want scans of hot rods from magazines?

Im putting this here because this is the American car section. I scanned in a few articles on some hot rods a little while ago but didnt get any replies on them.

So I was wondering if anyone would still be interested in me scanning in some nice hot rods from time to time?

And if I do, should I put the scans here or in the regular scans sections?

I get quite a few mags delivered to my house (although I think I need to renew my subscriptions) but there are quite a bit of nice rods in there that I could scan in when I get some free time.

i would say definately; although i am generally not fond of the pre 1955's, a good engine is always great to read about.

of course, once you get into the mid 60's and muscle cars... hot rodded muscle just starts kicking ass

just my opinion

Alright ill put up some scans when ever I come across something unique or interesting. As long as there is at least one person interested in seeing it, then ill do it.

Should I put the scans here or in the mag scan section?

i think it wouldnt be a bad thing to do american cars/ mag scans sticky... but that would mean that more of us should buy a scanner and have a good place to host pictures...

i definately have at least 100 car mags myself.... each with at least one article i bought them for =D

Well to give you an idea of the kinds of cars I would be posting (i.e. the kind of cars I like) take a look at the first scans I submitted and let me know what you think. The cars that I really like and that I would see fit to scan dont appear in the issues all the time, but I do have a huge stack of mags. This weekend I should have some free time to sit down and go through them to see if there is anything worth uploading in there.

EDIT: I dont know if a sticky would be necesary unless there are some others that want to put up some scans too because most of the time the mags dont have cars that I find that "special." Although I do like seeing nice old cars in general, the ones I am really interested in are the powerful, or perhaps more moderized cars such as the new trend of pro touring cars.
